Prerequisites
- Access to
accounts@cloudberrie.com. - Cloudberrie-approved password manager.
- An authenticator application and at least one backup authentication method.
- Authorized person available to store recovery codes securely.
Create the Account
- Open the official GitHub sign-up page.
- Enter
accounts@cloudberrie.com. - Create a unique password in the password manager.
- Select a role-based username such as
cb-engops. Do not use the desired organization name if GitHub reports a naming conflict. - Complete GitHub’s account verification.
- Open the verification email arriving in the
admin@cloudberrie.cominbox through the accounts alias and confirm the address. - Sign in and confirm the profile opens successfully.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Open the profile menu → Settings.
- Open Password and authentication.
- Start the two-factor authentication setup.
- Enroll an authenticator application or passkey/security key.
- Download the recovery codes.
- Store recovery codes in the company password manager’s secured record—not in email, chat, or a shared document.
- Add a second recovery method controlled by an authorized business owner.
- Sign out and complete a test sign-in before proceeding.
Do not proceed until 2FA and recovery have been tested. The account will become an owner of repositories and deployment integrations.

- Bio: short operational description; do not list private contact information.
- Notification email: retain the business-controlled address.
